The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) has elected new leaders into its senior ranks, NAHB announced during its winter leadership meeting last week.

Jerry Konter, a Georgia-based home builder and developer with more than 40 years of experience, will take over the role of NAHB’s chairman of the board this year. Chuck Fowke, NAHB’s elected chairman in 2021, will remain on the executive team as immediate past chairman.

Under his leadership, Konter said that the top priority for 2022 “will be to work with policymakers to resolve ongoing supply chain disruptions and labor shortages.”
