There are two options to choose from (Standard and Premier), both offering up to £1m buildings cover and £60,000 or £80,000 contents cover, and the 5-star Defaqto rated Premier cover comes with home emergency cover and accidental damage included as standard.

Daley Gore, director at Just Travel Cover, said: “We have been looking at ways to diversify for some time now to help our clients with more than their travel insurance but it was important to find the right partner.

“We know getting home insurance can be a laborious process, so we wanted to simplify it as much as possible – we believe the ease and speed of getting a quotation by answering just five questions online and the ability to spread the cost, interest free, will appeal to our clients; then the quality of cover speaks for itself,  backed by a household name people know they can trust.”

Sarah Watts, head of intermediary, Legal & General Insurance, added: “We’re delighted to partner with Just Travel Cover which is a very well respected travel insurance business.

“SmartQuote for Partnerships via our intermediary channel will provide a simple and easy home insurance journey for their customers and will sit perfectly alongside the existing range of products that Just Travel Cover offer to customers via their website.”
