Freedom Mortgage has tapped 27-year industry veteran Mike Mell (pictured) to lead its wholesale division as senior vice president.
Mell, previously SVP of sales at Freedom, will oversee the company’s national sales team that includes regional sales managers and account executives across the country. He has been with Freedom Mortgage since 2005.
“While there’s major turbulence in our industry, especially in wholesale lending, Freedom Mortgage has the right leadership and strategy in place to help our partners weather the storm,” said Stanley Middleman, president and CEO of Freedom Mortgage. “Mike is already doing a fantastic job leading his team and working with mortgage brokers across the country to provide customized solutions to close each loan.”
