Home Point Financial has announced the integration of Docutech’s Solex eClosing platform to its offerings.
The addition of Solex allows Home Point’s customers to close on their digital mortgage through a hybrid eClosing process. Additionally, the platform gives borrowers time to familiarize themselves with the document – enabling them to review their closing package digitally and eSign most documents before signing. Once the closing is done, all documents are digitized and stored in the Solex eVault.
Phil Shoemaker, president of originations at Home Point Financial, noted the importance of delivering an enhanced digital mortgage experience during the coronavirus pandemic.
“This integration is crucial in providing a convenient and streamlined mortgage process and enabling our borrowers to review and sign the majority of their closing documents from home, which is essential – especially in today’s uncertain environment,” Shoemaker said. “With Docutech’s Solex eClosing platform, our closers, brokers, correspondents, settlement partners and customers all gain important benefits from a more streamlined digital experience.”
“Docutech is committed to digitizing as much of the mortgage process as possible to help lenders optimize the customer experience while adding operational efficiencies to accelerate the closing process,” Docutech President Amy Brandt said. “We are thrilled to be expanding on the services we provide to Home Point to enable a more digital wholesale lending process.”
