Nationwide Mortgage Bankers names new chief marketing officer

The former head of marketing for Lennar Mortgage, Yianni Garcia (pictured), is making the move to Nationwide Mortgage Bankers (NMB).

NMB, which has been named America’s fastest-growing mortgage company in 2019 by Inc. 5000, announced on Monday the appointment of Garcia as chief marketing officer.

In a statement, the company said that it is looking forward to seeing how Garcia’s extensive marketing experience will help further accelerate its growth of the NMB and Americasa brands in 2020 and beyond.

“We are building a world-class marketing platform to help maximize and sustain our growth during all market conditions,” said Jodi Hall, president of NMB and Americasa. “Yianni is the ideal builder for our brands and marketing capabilities.”

Before joining NMB, Garcia has spent the past five years at Lennar, formerly Eagle Home Mortgage, where he most recently served as vice president of marketing and innovation. Prior to that, he oversaw the development and implementation of social media strategies for several major firms as a marketing specialist.
