Radian Group has announced a new addition to its executive team, appointing Mary Dickerson as executive vice president and chief people officer.

Bringing more than 20 years of industry experience to the role, Dickerson will oversee all aspects of human resources at Radian. She will report to Radian CEO Rick Thornberry and replace Chief Human Resources Officer Anita Scott, who retired in December after more than two decades with the firm.

“A top priority at Radian is ensuring that our people programs and company culture keep pace with our innovative product development and market expansion, and we are excited to welcome Mary to Radian to help further that effort,” Thornberry said.

Most recently, Dickerson led a team of 150 human resource professionals for DLL Group, a Rabobank subsidiary, as executive vice president of human resources. She has also held senior leadership positions at XL Catlin, Accolade, and The Hartford Financial Services Group.

“I am confident that with Mary’s leadership, our highly talented HR team will continue to lay the foundation for our next phase of growth and success,” Thornberry said. “We also want to give our heartfelt thanks to Anita Scott, whose tremendous leadership and contributions to Radian helped make us the great company we are today.”
