Legal & General, Vitality and Royal London are the third group of insurers to be ranked in Protection Guru’s operational ratings.
The ratings will ultimately benchmark 12 of the UK’s leading insurers on 10 key areas where they interact with advisers and clients.
Legal & General (5.7), Vitality (5.5) and Royal London (4.8) take the current list up to nine insurers.
The first group to be ranked were Zurich, The Exeter and Scottish Widows, and the second batch comprised Guardian, AIG and Aviva.
The results for the three weakest performing insurers included in the research will be published next week.
