Planet Home Lending has announced a new addition to its leadership team.
Appointed as executive vice president of national production and distributed retail sales is Caleb Mittelstet (pictured), a mortgage veteran with more than 20 years of experience. According to a statement from the company, Mittelstet has a proven track record of expanding into new markets, increasing market share, and recruiting mortgage professionals.
“Caleb is a renowned retail builder, recruiter and channel developer,” said Michael Dubeck, CEO and president of Planet Financial Group. “Our distributed retail originations have more than doubled year-over-year. With Caleb leading the channel, that growth momentum will accelerate.”
Before joining Planet Home Lending, Mittelstet served as executive vice president of sales at Summit Funding. He has also held a range of retail leadership positions at Pacific Union Financial, CMG Financial, and PrimeLending.
