First Community Mortgage (FCM) has appointed seasoned mortgage professional Johnny Smith (pictured) as vice president of regional production.
Based in Franklin, Tenn., Smith first joined FCM in 2012 as branch sales manager. He then moved up the ranks a few years later, assuming the positions of senior vice president of production support and vice president of branch operations. After more than seven years at FCM, he served as vice president and sales manager for FirstBank (formerly Franklin Synergy Bank).
“Johnny has managed both operations and sales, so he is very in tune with all areas of the business, which helps him help our team avoid any surprises for our customers,” said FCM President Dan Smith. “While he does not often have direct customer interaction, they benefit from his expertise, as he ensures the workflow continues moving efficiently and accurately, with ongoing improvements.”
