Nitin Mistry (pictured) has joined Earl Shilton Building Society (esbs) as an assistant management accountant.

Much of his career has been spent within the footwear sector having worked for Wolverine Worldwide, which includes the Hush Puppies and Merrel brands within its portfolio, and Shoe Zone, where he was responsible for budgets and forecasting for over 500 stores across the UK and Ireland.

Mistry said: “The size of esbs means it offers a great platform to learn the different aspects of the banking sector and to get a deeper understanding of financial institutions and how they operate.

“What I love about esbs is the people, the supportive and friendly team have made me feel so welcomed.”

Outside of work, Nitin enjoys spending time with friends and coaching an under-14s football team.

Paul Tilley, chief executive of esbs, said: “We’re very pleased to welcome Nitin to the team where he will become a valued member.

“I’m delighted with the increase in the numbers of our colleagues we have recently experienced at esbs, allowing us to continue supporting our customers in a manner we are proud of.”
