Angel Oak Home Loans has expanded in Nevada as it continues to grow its non-QM loan offerings.

The non-qualified mortgage lender has opened a new office in Reno, Nev. The move, according to Angel Oak Divisional Manager Mac Cregger, is an integral part of its goal to broaden its wide array of non-QM products further.

“We’ve targeted these geographic areas based on the significant potential and opportunity we see for prospective and existing homebuyers,” he said. “Non-QM is becoming more and more in demand, helping homebuyers with diverse circumstances qualify for home loans, and we are delivering our innovative mortgage products to more areas to meet the demand.”

Over the last few months, Angel Oak has extended its reach in Melbourne Beach, Fla., and Washington DC. The company now has 35 retail offices across the country. It also has plans to open additional branches in Houston, Carson City, Nev., and Natchez, Miss., as well as in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, and Oregon later this year.

“The addition of these branches emphasizes our commitment to serving borrowers,” Cregger said. “With so much momentum in the housing sector across the country, we want to ensure our clients have all the necessary mortgage products and resources to reach their goals of homeownership.”
